The Marinduque First Saturday Movers, Inc. (MFSMI) is with great sadness of the passing of Mr. Noel V. Magturo, a native of Boac, Marinduque. Noel passed away on July 20, 2014. Mr. Magturo was a valued member of the MFSMI.

A Newsman

Ka Noel, as known to many served as the Producer and Host of Ay Marinduque. He was also the Executive Editor of The MIMAROPA Sunrise, a weekly community regional newsmagazine that publishes news and updates across MIMAROPA Region. This magazine promotes local tourism and activities in the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan. Furthermore, said journal helps the government in disseminating information in its Eco-tourism projects with articles on tourists’ destinations.

Sympathy Pours on Facebook

The sympathy of Ka Noels’ friends, colleagues and relatives pours on his Facebook wall. Adrian Rosales said “Ka Noel, idol kita pagdating sa serbisyo at trabaho. Kahit na nasa karamdaman ka ay nakita ko ang pagmamahal mo sa trabaho. Sorry, hindi ko po natapos ang iba kong ini-edit. Sisikapin po namin na ipagpatuloy ang nasimulan mo. Gabayan mo po kami. Salamat ka Noel Victor Magturo!”

Melly Tenorio also shares on Facebook, "Ka Noel was hoping to come to Manila for further diagnosis. Unfortunately, he did not make it a day longer. Noel was the first President of PSCIJOURN MIMAROPA till his demise. He was very active as a member and as a President of PSCIJOURN Marinduque. He loves his work too much that even on his deathbed he was still working. He is hospitable and when needed, you can call on him any time. We will miss him surely. In his behalf, I would like to appeal to your kind hearts to offer prayers and financial assistance (if possible) to his family in Marinduque."

“Condolences po sa familly ni Noel, minsan nagakayayaan kami kumain sa isang resto sa Gasan, kapag siya ay may coverage”, Melvin Pernia commented.

Please keep Noel’s family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
