Marinduque Ligtas sa Fake Rice

Boac, Marinduque - Idineklara ng National Food Authority-Marinduque na ang lalawigan ay ligtas sa Pekeng Bigas o Fake Rice at tinatawag ding Synthetic Rice. Ito ay matapos ang aktual na inspeksyon ng mga tindahan ng bigas na accredited at licensed ng National Food Authority (NFA) sa anim na malalaki at nangungunang palengke sa anim na bayan sa buong lalawigan simula nuong Hulyo 5, 2015. Kasama sa pagiikot at pag momonitor ang Provincial Office Palengke Watch at ang Price Monitoring Team.

Marinduque Seeks Partnership with Ifugao for Cultural Preservation

Lagawe, Ifugao - The governor of Marinduque wants to build a partnership with the provincial government  of  Ifugao in the campaign  to  preserve the rich culture of the two provinces  in the face of  modernity and development.

Governor Carmencita Reyes and her team  visited  the province recently  and was apparently impressed with how the province preserved its culture.

Marinduque Fugitive Falls in QC Ops

MANILA, Philippines - Police operatives arrested a fugitive wanted for rape in Marinduque during an operation in Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Joel Pagdilao said his men along with members of the Gasan, Marinduque police nabbed Israel Magararu, 38, of San Antonio St., San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City.

Armed with an arrest warrant, authorities apprehended Magararu, considered as Marinduque's no. 9 Wanted Person, around 5:40 a.m. last June 29 near a school in  San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City.

Pang Eroplano Lang Po: Stray Domesticated Animals Barred From Marinduque Airport

MANILA - The entire Marinduque Airport compound in Gasan town, including its immediate periphery, was declared free from all stray domesticated animals by virtue of a Provincial Ordinance approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan last June 19,2015.

The ordinance arose from a meeting between Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General William K. Hotchkiss lll, Marinduque Governor Carmencita Reyes and the technical team of Philippine Airlines (PAL). The meeting tackled issues and concerns in the Gasan Airport that are very critical to the resumption of flights to Marinduque.
